DANIEL E. KLINE
Daniel
E. Kline is an internationally recognized speaking professional and
member in good standing of the National Speakers Association. His
popular presentations draw from his more than 30 years of experience
as a public speaker, writer, creator-owner of two retail stores, and
manager of a large, California-based division of the federal government.
In 1997, Dan and his wife, writer Kay
Marshall Strom,
founded Kline, Strom & Associates, a Santa Barbara-based speaking,
training and consulting firm. KS&A, national in scope, specializes
in workplace communication issues such as writing, speaking, people-managing,
team-building, and leadership.
Dan also co-founded
Santa Barbara Literary Service, which in 1988 began providing seminars,
handbooks, and editing-related services nationwide to aspiring and
established writers alike. In addition, he helped develop and co-teach
the Writing Certificate Program at Cal State University, Long Beach.
His personal writing credits include a book and a CD-ROM on grammar
and proofreading, a videotape on hiring and interviewing, four 6-hour
seminars, and a number of booklets on subjects ranging from characters
and dialogue to a glossary of terms for professional writers.
Since
1990, Dan has been inspiring, motivating, entertaining, and informing
audiences around the world. He spent his first two years speaking
for a major national public seminar company and five more with another
as a full-time contract presenter. During that time and since going
independent in 1997, Dan has made customized presentations to clients
as diverse as AT&T, IBM, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, TRW, Delco-GM Defense,
Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Pacific Investment Management, BellSouth,

bodies on the federal, state, and local levels (Wisconsin, Texas,

military and civilian federal government, and many hospitals and school
systems both public and private.
